Snow Days

Ello boys and girls.....

We has ad some snow.  Which I hear the hoomuns saying is a bit different for Devon, usually we seem to get passed over and miss out on any snow.  We did have some at the start of the year, but i doesn't remeber that.
To start with we did just have a bit of snow, which was fun.

I do like to sniff and eat the snow.  And peemail is much easier to see when it snows! 

Then on monday when Mum and Dad did wake up, it was really snowing, like really really snowing and soon it did look very different to what I is used to.

Mum took this at ground level from the back door, can you just see me?  Being white its quite easy to hide in the snow!

The only trouble I got was at sometimes my belly did keep touching the snow and that was very cold!  Plus everytime I did go out and come in I had to have my paws dryed, and I is not a fan of that!

The snow did look all so pretty outside, I did have to go and do my zoomies around the garden and get it looking a little more lived in!  Dad said I did make it look like ice cream, eating it was cold like ice cream but I doesnt think it tasted like ice cream!

It is still all white outside and chilly on my paws, but luckily now the hoomuns can get about better (they not so good in the snow are they?!)  Apparently it good to be white around christmas....I finks its good being white all the time, I doesnt see any fing wrong with it!  I tell you one fing that i does fink is worng, is snow balls.....they are the worst balls ever, you see them and then you don't, they are such a tease.  If we can sort out making snow balls better that would be great, fanks.

Festive Season

My oh my....I as been a bit slow wiv this!  The parents have been busy and so my 'net time has been lacking!  As you can see from the picture below, I as tried myself, but find my paws are a bit big for the keys!  But anyways,  ello to you all!

So it do be that time of year again, where Santa Paws does be getting ready to come and bring us all lots of treats.  I was only tiny last year, 4 months old, so I doesn't remember much.  But I is liking the pretty lights on the tree that has been put in the front room, really near my basket!  And I am liking getting to sniff all the pretty boxes that are being put underneath the tree.

 I hope Santa paws brings me a few little nice fings.  I av done some shopping for my BFF, he is a cat, called Scratch, and he lives with Mum's friends, what do be my Auntie and Uncle, Scratch also has a brofur what is a rabbit, what I do like to sniff at, and also some chickens, what I dont much care for.  I has brought them all some special fings to have.
 My BFF did send me some post, what did make me very happy.  Dis is what my post was.....

It be an Elf's outfit!  And has pretty bells on what do sound even better when you chase you chase your tail and have funny 5 seconds!  I fanks you Scratch and Auntie for sending it me.  ( I fank Unlce too but he a bit Bah-humbug about Christmas and dressing up, but I sure I melt his heart!)


I likes to dress up, and also have this in my wardrobe....

I can be a raindeer too!  Altho, 'one size fits all', is a bit snug on me, so I doesn't fink they know thems sizes very well.  Last year I was Santa Moo....

I finks I could be a model!  Bol!!

Beach Babe

Ello everyone, it as been a little time since I was last ere.  But ere I am once again.  It do be fireworks tonight, and it turns out, on dis my second fireworks night, I seem not to like them at all!
Mum did say to Dad, I was a little jumpy last year, but being only little I was easily distracted and just ad a Gruff and a hide if I didn't like it.
This year, I is still gruffing, but I also having a pant and a shiver.  Mum and Dad as tried distracting me, but I is not having any of that.

However, I as ad some wonderful adventures the last few days.  Dad as been on holiday and so I as ad some weekend walks during the week, which I as loved!  And yesterday Mum did have the day off too, and we went on a big adventure to Cornwall.  And I did get to go to Polzeath, which is where Mum spent many summers when she was younger, and still loves going back too.  This was the first time I ad been to Cornwall.

I'm not always good at letting my ball be thrown!

I did a lot of ball chasing, even tho I have to have two balls, as I don't like to give my ball back.  But I am at least getting better at bringing the ball back closer to the ball thrower.  I did go through a phase of running after the ball and just leaving it where it landed!

Dad is a much better ball thrower than Mum, but I humour Mum and let her have a go for a bit, and then run back to Dad with the ball and make him take over!  Its taken months for me to perfect this sneaky move, but I now have it working perfectly.  

A dog has to cool off!

 I did get really hot chasing the balls, and did find a puddle of water to lie down in, on the beach.  I was enjoying this and cooling off nicely, but another dog did come to say 'ello, and went to sniff my ball (what did you fink it was gonna sniff?!!) and there is one fing I do know, and that is my ball is MY BALL.  Not anyone elses fank yoo.  So I did have to get up, collect my ball and run back to Mum and Dad.  They found this very funny.  I was doing what a doggie as to do.

Enjoying the bit of Autumn sunshine

 I have to admit, after running around for ages and ages, and having all new sniffs to sniff, I was a tired little dog at the end.  I did enjoy having a quiet lie down and soaked up some of the little bit of the sun that was coming thru.
It was a wonderful day, and I did ere Mum and Dad saying if we lived closer it would be a regular walk, well, I wouldn't mind that, I could be a proper beach babe!

I hopes yoos are all having a safe and snuggly fireworks weekend anipals.  I fink I will head to my basket and have a little nap.  I may be young, but I'm not cut out for all this noise!

Good evening, dis comes to yoos from beside Dad on da sofa.  He is playing his computer game, it has a ball in which I can't get an lots of fings running around....I do get tutted at if I lick the screen!

So I just have to make sure it is known I is watching and making sure everyfing is ok!  It is my job after all.

But I is not a security dog (just in case insurers is reading dis). 

 Dat was one of da questions dat the pet insurance did ask...Dad wanted to ask if licking and possibly weeing on people as they come in counted!  (how embarrassed am I?!  I don't do da excited wee's hardly ever now, I is very lady like)

Mum and Dad have just been going through pet insurance and Mum did look a bit like dis.....

I however was very laid back and was still chewing my big chew, which do still be going, I looked a bit like dis...

But apparently my insurance is all sorted now, and we saved some pennies, which I as declared must be spent on tasty noms for moi!  Seems only fair, dey was being spent on me in the first place!

Now I did wanna find somfing to send to any anipals dat need cheering up, like Marley who was at da vets today to have his teeth cleaning and was waiting a very long time with an empty tummy, and for my other pals that just deserve sumfing nice.... 

....Maybe it just best to say I is working on it!  When I gets them, I'll be sure to share!

I likes my W*A*L*K*I*E*S

Now W*A*L*K*I*E*S is a dangerous word for many a doggie, the mention of this word can cause a whole flurry of activity.  So from now I on I will refer to it as an 'Explore'.  Its safer all ways round, especially for me, as even words that sound like the 'W' word, such as Keys, or Talk can get me a little flustered!

I love an Explore, I love to sniff out all thats going on.  I am lucky that Mum and Dad take me lots of nice places for me to explore....I feel I should introduce Mum and Dad......

Dis is Mum and Dad on their recent big explore dat I didn't get to go on cos it was so far away.

Anyways, back to MY exploring, I likes lots of exploring places that we have close to us in Devon, I like the beach, I likes Haldon Forest and I like Woodbury Common, to name a few.

 I am getting much braver about water, and now love to get wet!

and I liked to chase snow balls!

I quite like going to the field and just chasing my balls sometimes too.  And of course if I am spending time with Nanny and Granddad that has a whole lot of different exploring involved!  But one thing is certain.  After a really good explore you come home looking like this....

And then after having a *whisper* Bath *shake* you have to do a whole lot of this.....

Hello anipals, dis is my first very first blog.....I hopes I gets this right.
I fort I would tell yoos all a little bit about me..... so ere goes.

*clears throat*

I am called Missy, also I gets called Missy Moo and sometimes MooMoo.  I answer to most things, including Monkey.   I live wiv my Mummy and my Daddy, they have had me since I was 8 weeks old. My birthday is 19 July.

Dis is me on my first day at home, I was tired out after the journey!

I did have a lovely toy dat Mummy did buy me and it was called 'Piggy' it came everywhere wiv me when I was little.

Dis is me wiv Piggy, in my basket at my Nanny's house.

Piggy did not stay that pretty colour for long and soon I did play wiv him so much he started to fall apart.  I still find him from time to time, and if someone says to me 'find piggy' I will search him out!

I loves to go on walks, I don't mind where as long as I can sniff lots, and am also lucky dat there is a big field behind home dat I can go to and run really fast on and chase my balls.  I love to say Hello to other doggies, unless I am chasing my balls, nothing can distract me from that!

I hopes yoos all like dis quick first bloggies, I shall get Mum to sort out more photo's so I can do some more soon.  Fanks for reading!  *treats for all*
